Closed Sessions are the unsung heroes of Chicago indie rap; their lack of notoriety is crazy since last year alone saw a steady stream of big releases from the imprint, including Vic Mensa’s Innanetape, Showyousuck’s Dude Bro, and Tree’s Sunday School 2. On “More Than You Know”, the label’s first official single of 2014, Tree connects with Thelonious Martin’s dusty piano loops for a nice slice of SoulTrap.
