With Asad Ill on the mic and Burnin Giraph on the ones and twos, it’s safe to say this project is well-worth a listen or ten. The beats go extremely hard and feel as contemporary as anything on the radio while Asad’s lyricism is thought-provoking and reminiscent of golden-era hip hop, a refreshing intersection of old and new styles.
