YOURFR1END, a Norwegian virtual avatar affiliated with the Rytmeklubben collective, makes his debut as the newest addition to the Raw Juice label with the infectious single “Not Enough.” Over the coming months and the beginning of 2016, YOURFR1END will release a series of original singles via the Norwegian label, culminating in his debut EP, titled Level 1.
Influenced by traditional pop, hip-hop and virtual nostalgia, the track is an airy, uplifting tune with synth melodies that sound like they are just peaking out from underneath digital snippets of elation, bombastic 808s, and pitched down vocal samples.
This one is sure to play well in either real life or virtual habitats; ideally an 8-bit meadow housing free-range ponies.
