Two Parent Home is the new musical project of 23 year old Alexander Bercow who currently resides in New York. The project grew from the artist’s desire to explore themes of technology and robotics – things that are becoming rapidly advanced and increasingly prolific in our lifetime.
When I asked Alexander a little bit about making the music he told me; “I use a lot of different techniques to get my sounds, I carry a microphone on me all times to get interesting sounds from real life, fuck them up, and use a lot of granular synthesis.”
The video component of this art project was a collaborative effort between the musician and rising visual artist Mikey Joyce. The videos take cues from Blade Runner and other various works of science fiction while bringing new textures, ideas, and depth to the music.
