Diveo: My brother used to call me Maxo when I was young so it’s always really awkward

Tunezboi: Have you ever submitted a song to PC music? Did you get the dignity of a response?
Diveo: Yeah funny story! so around 5 months ago I made a track called “I Want to Be Your Friend” that kind of coincided with the visual and name rebranding I was doing to become Diveo – a sweeter, more hyper StatueOfDiveo – The track was really inspired by Hannah Diamond and Sophie; it’s one of those tracks where you kinda start by trying to rip off a sound but then it gets more and more influenced by your own style.
So,
I asked Maxo to send it to A G Cook, because Maxo will do anything if you beg for itlike he will repost you if you put a couple jazz chords and ask nice.
Then A G told whybray [who] told me that “he digs”
It keeps me going to this day
