New Jersey-based Third Mind, consisting of deScribe, grimB and producer Alex Trevelyan, have been garnering some much deserved attention recently while releasing bi-weekly singles. Their latest, “So Many Ways”, has all those mumbly/cloud rap/Drake-inspired elements, but with that authentically sad/drugged feel that quite honestly is catching my ear right now. Trevelyan’s atmospheric production is sparse, teetering against the angst of what essentially feels like a moody breakup song. Roll up the dirt and play this one on your iPhone.
