SolarFive’s latest “loosie for the soul” goes by the name of “7GXD5”. The track starts with CHI_VII’s synths and SolarFive’s ad-libs swirling around your speakers, building up with 808’s until about 35 seconds in. Once the drums hit Solar’s hook makes your head bounce, as every beat (1, 2, 3, 4) is emphasized by some word or syllable. His signature drawn out vocal melodies keeps the song solid as the beat almost makes one feel dizzy. After you’ve listened to this one, go back to his excellent project 88 Soul.
