An Al Green sample will undoubtedly always catch my attention and that’s exactly what happened here in the case of Sherpa & Anak1n‘s latest The Necromancer Strut. It’s hard to really mess up rapping over a sample as smooth as this, but the duo add some clever wordplay and exciting imagery to show that they are taking things serious. The duo plans to drop a joint effort with Semi Pro – which is slated for a winter release – but until then enjoy the first single off of the aforementioned project.
