Usually I hate songs that are over 4 minutes, I don’t have time for all that! Plus people usually don’t understand the art of the buildup and thus will make their song really long AND really boring which is just not the right combo at all. Random Rab does a great job of avoiding this with his track “Fate Shadow” where a filter helps keep the synth moving in the beginning half of the song keeping it calm but moving. Finally after 3 and a half minutes we are introduced to a soft vocal sample and every minute from there “Fate Shadow” grows larger and more encapsulating; adding subtle drops and melodies as well as amping up the vocal samples intensity Rab creates a relaxed track that keeps you engaged.
