Songstress Lili K appeared today on Vocalo to premiere her new song “Latch” and announce that her first album Ruby is coming soon. Many of us are familiar with her voice through her work with Chicago hip hop stars Tree, Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa to name a few, but she is a jazz and soul singer at heart and that’s what we can look forward to with her debut project. Until Ruby drops, enjoy her jazzy reworking of Sam Smith & Disclosure’s “Latch.” The rich instrumentation is by the Jeff Gibbs Quartet.
