Knxwledge is a well respected producer in the Hip-Hop underground. He is a New Jersey native who is now located in LA, he moved there when he was 19 and has lived there for over six years. He owns a few thousand vinyls so needless to say his music is sample based. He often has a warm, jazzy, sunshine type atmosphere around his instrumentals and his new drop “Knxsleep[TWRK]” is so warm it’s basically reaching out and hugging you while playing. With Wiz Khalifas vocals from his “No Sleep” track and a snug, chopped up sample that sounds like it’s from the 20s or 30s leading the track, the listener is carried to a state of carefree “it’s all love” euphoria. The track is off Knxwledge’s recently dropped “WT.PRT.7.5_” project, which you can check out here and be sure to visit the rest of Knxwledge’s band camp which has an infinite amount of songs. A fun thing to do is wondering how in the hell one man is responsible for this entire body of work.
