I know very little about producer Killer Kane besides the fact that his name is Pat (what grabbed my attention the first time he submitted was his name. Chicago readers will recognize its familiarity: Pat Kane), and we converse from time to time on Twitter. Today, Kane grabbed my attention in a different way (aside from the submission being titled “1833rd Rock From the Sun” which was really great) with his single, Rain. There’s not a whole lot going on within the Led Zeppelin-sampled record, but sometimes the most minimal is the most tasteful. This release will find itself on Kane’s upcoming beat-tape, The Invisible Man.
