“I have no feelings but I can make songs cry
In a world where the strong die”
Supa Bwe
“Before The War” unites two of Chicago’s most buzzing groups, Hurt Everybody and Twin Peaks. It’s a beautiful song with these bands collaborating on the production. Supa Bwe’s vocals are warm and emotive and Carl’s lyricism is “shining while we transcending, easy.” The cover art is by Abel Gray.
Both these groups are making big moves. Hurt Everybody are now Red Bull artists and have their first show presented by FSD & RBSS at Reggies on June 11. “Before The War” is the second single from their 2K47 project due on July 4. Also, be sure to get tickets for their Lolla aftershow with Mick Jenkins on August 1 at Reggies. Twin Peaks appeared on Last Call with Carson Daly last night, watch their performance of “Strawberry Smoothie.” Their extensive summer tour closes at Leeds Festival in the UK. Get ready for all that with “Before The War.”
