Just south of Chicago, Champaign-Urbana’s hip-hop scene is a bit enigmatic. Two of the brightest figures, however, are multi-instrumentalist Curb Service and emcee Klevah. There’s something Beck-esque about Curb’s vocals, and Klevah’s verse is melodically poetic – making for a gem of a track from Champaign’s Heirship Records. Stream above. Cheers.
