What I’ve Been On is the first project of Jaymz V. It’s a very good and personal debut showing soul and passion. Jaymz V worked on a lot of the production himself and got assistance from Hurt Everybody’s Supa Bwe and Mulatto Beats among others. The features from artists well known in Chicago include Supa Bwe, Netherfriends and Khori⁴, with strong performances by rappers that are new to me including J Prime, Corey and Miskeen. A couple of my fav tracks on the project are “Head Games” and “Amber Rose” has been on my playlist since it dropped as a single a few months ago.
