The lead single for Smino’s newest EP opens up with some sparse chords that evoke the feeling of being in a Cathedral or a museum – somewhere vast where you can feel its importance in the air and in the architecture. When Smino’s rapping assuredly comes in to snap the listener to attention, he cements the sense that what he is speaking is some sort of gospel.
