Bad luck is not a crutch
I’m never lost in excuses
‘Cos every time I grab the mic
I lose myself
And once again, I’m not a rapper, I’m a poet
That’s why I don’t freestyle, sounds better when I wrote it – “Nothin’ Less”
Instrumentally Unstable is Will is Chillin’s Stank Face Records debut and it’s a damn good project with tracks spanning all types of vibes. Tommy Bazooka produced about half of the 11 tracks. Additional production is by 5heriff, Esta, D.R.O., Glassic and Drew Mantia who also recorded, mixed and mastered Instrumentally Unstable. These are all new, the only leak was the dope single “Ketchup.” On “Broke” which sounds like a hit, Will’s infectious hook “Middle fingers high if you ever been broke” will be great live. He raps about a beautiful girl he sees on the train who inspires and captures his imagination in “Doors Closing,” one of my records tracks on the project. He closes the album with the Tommy Bazooka produced “Fool” where he says “So make mistakes and live your life son and always have something to write on. At the bottom of the bottle is just glass no answers, and Hail Mary full of grace but all I’m left is just ashes. You could be just dust to dusk so everyday’s a blessing, I’m saying everyday’s a lesson.” Spend some time with this project, it’s a substantial listen.
