Over the last year we have been bringing you some attention to the collection of Chicago natives, Wasted Youth. While this single is produced by Say No More, a majority of Wasted’s sounds are done in-house by their friends and fellow artists. Again they begin to tell us an inside story of what is happening within the boundaries of Chicago. Ever since the beginning of Summer there has been an increased amount of goofs and oops who are running around the neighborhood without even realizing that they’re in for a treat when Wasted Youth spots them. Hell, even Leek gives you a warning of what will happen as he describes the time they “ran up on folks and ripped out his pockets”. I have learned one valuable lesson from being in communication with Wasted Youth since almost the very beginning: gang can rob you but you must never rob gang.
Do not say you’ll throw hands if you’re going to hide when they pop out. Pole up on gang and it might be the end of your night. Don’t offer WxY any dope because they already have enough on them. Actually, don’t even speak to them. They don’t need your handout because they have all the poppy seeds. Good thing I don’t have to worry about anything though, you can find me getting T’d with gang backstage.
Bonus: Here’s another new track from Moon titled “I was drunk when i recorded this”.
