Dropped off in my inbox today is this incredible instrumental from producer Tulpa. There wasn’t much information, and I haven’t been able to track down much online, but Tea For Two is one of those transcendental instrumentals that you could just put on repeat as you sit back and ponder the meaning of your life. All that was included with this was a quote from Tulpa on what being an artist means to him:
I have not been through a lot in regards to what other people have been through. That is not to say I haven’t had any hardships, because I’ve had a lot. My life is mostly filled with bad stuff that wouldn’t have actually became a problem if I didn’t pursue the more negative things in life. With that said, I’ve been in places I’m not proud of, I’ve been in mindsets that affected my health, but it all shapes my music. I am my music, there is no doubt about it….I don’t make what’s commercially marketable, I make what I want. Seeing the world, just sitting and staring shapes my music. I know make it seem corny, but the silent picture around me is what I aim to draw with my sounds.
