Hoooooly Shit! Swedish psych-rock trio Time Is a Mountain comes in extremely hot with the first single off their new album ‘II’. I discovered this band less than a week ago and they are everything I’ve been looking for! Booming drums (with a steel drum thrown in there, I’m pretty sure), furious organ, heavy synth all lead you through an instrumental jam that feels like you’re trotting in a desert on the hottest day of the summer. This combination of sound and drive is so full you may possibly have the itis after listening through it once but damn, it’s so worth it!
