I’ll tell you right now: I have an unparalleled softness for when robots develop feelings. So when I pressed play on Kaytranada’s new video for “Lite Spots”, from his 99.9% album that dropped last Friday, I couldn’t help but get a little choked up.
In the video, Kaytranada creates a b-boy robot with artificial intelligence, which allows it to pick up on people’s dancing and recreate their moves. The track is also one of my favorites from Kay’s new album, 99.9%, which features guest appearances from Syd the Kid, Anderson Paak, Craig David, and Vic Mensa.
You can stream Kaytranada’s new album on Apple Music and Spotify as well as purchase it in the iTunes store.
The fam, Gravez dropped, yet again, another STUPID crazy amazing remix. This time, with one of my recent favorite artists, Louisville’s own – Bryson Tiller. Tiller has his own sound of a trap soul taste – mixing R&B, hip-hop, and rap together. The ATL producer added his own sounds to this song by adding his own futuristic, trap style, unique sound to it which helps compliment this song perfectly.
Look out for Gravez upcoming EP, New Blood that’s looking to drop sometime later this year.
OH! And you already know that there’s nothing better than a free song download, so if you’re digging this, cop it for free.99 and share it with your homies 🙂
Illa J just dropped his new single “Strippers” with a funky-style production by Potatohead People and Kaytranada. This will be on his forthcoming self-titled solo album which is looking to drop Fall of 2015.

If you’ve ever a watched music video and been like, “Damn, those scrawny model chicks are poor examples of modern femininity,” Kaytranada’s here to suggest that women so big they could beat you up can be sexy too.
HW&W affliate Evil Needle usually traffics in laid back hip-hop production but he’s gone and ditched all that in favor of k-pop crossover and EDM glory on this one. What apparently started as a “joke-beat” built on a throwaway acapella track ended up a pretty catchy club banger.
Just to show you how far Needle’s reaching here, check out this leak off his unnamed upcoming project:
Tek.lun comes with a hazy new record through LA-based HW&W collective.
