I’ll admit it, I live in Champaign-Urbana. I always have. The music scene here is vibrant, but what has been missing for some time is the quick wit of a good emcee. Luckily, the hip-hop environment in C-U has been rapidly improving, and T.R.U.T.H. is a major reason why. Her bars are poignant, her lyricism is on point, and her project, The Eve EP, is one of my most favorite of the year. Stream above. Cheers.
