Aye, I really fuck with Purity Ring. I know that’s mostly something you hear out of trendy high-school girls, but that’s essentially what I am at heart. I don’t care. Fuck the opps.
“push pull” is the newest, non-remix, Purity Ring song in quite a while (2012 to be exact). The video, a simple visual of a floating women as her flowing dress and hair ripples in a light wind, is tastefully as simple as it is peaceful. Seemingly more light than material from their 2012 LP Shrines, “push pull” is definitely one I’ll be putting in my regular rotation. Hopefully this means a brand new album from the duo is on the way. For now, I’m satisfied with anything new from Purity Ring.
