Based World has been waiting quite some time for Lil B’s Thugged Out Pissed Off mixtape. We’d gotten some pretty incredible promotion for the project and seen Lil B on MSNBC and ESPN over the summer, but still no Thugged Out Pissed Off. In fact, Lil B hasn’t released any type of project since his collaborative EP with Chicago’s kid Chance The Rapper that dropped this summer. So you could imagine my excitement when Thugged Out Pissed Off was finally released last Tuesday. I listened to the project a few times and had to hit up my fellow Based World memeber and Closed Sessoins artist BoatHouse (WHO ACTUALLY ENGINEERED THE ENTIRE CHANCE/LIL B EP) to discuss it.
