If you’re a victim of heartbreak, then today’s 1833 Premiere is right up your alley. St. Louis native, Lewis Grant, (FINALLY) serves up cold-emotion with the release of his video for the single Think I’ll Be OK. Featuring beautiful landscapes, a great use of color, and a lonely Lewis singing to himself; the iPhone-shot visuals (done by Dylan Brady) are a perfect fit for an extremely sorrowful record. Lewis touches on all of the artifacts we’re left with when the one we love is no longer there, as well as not being too afraid to speak on his own inner-monologue and confusion. While this is only his second official release, besides some features here and there, Lewis has quickly become an artist that I have an immense amount of excitement for; and I think with the above music video you’ll see why. Think I’ll Be OK is also available for stream on SoundCloud.
