The rare-ness of music that I keep hearing from St. Louis is beautifully emotional, but in contrast it couldn’t make me any happier. This time, Lewis Grant sings all over the production of, my favorite producer this year to be honest, Dylan Brady for the emotionally charged Loading Screen. This record gives me a very Panic! At The Disco/emo-pop vibe which is great because that was one of my favorite bands in high school. Please do not automatically assume that is what it’s going to sound exactly like purely based off my words because these guys are doing something that I consider to be wildly different than most of the music I come across, and I definitely don’t want to limit them to a particular lane. This is the first song I’ve heard from Lewis, but Dylan has shown to be extremely versatile and creative in each release he’s had since I first discovered his music in the depths of SoundCloud hell. Keep an eye out for these guys… they just might have something special.
