I am by no means shilling for Daytrotter but if there is one subscription in my life that I do not regret, it would probably be my membership to them. Today, they released a another excellent recording session, this time of the up-and-coming St. Louis emo band Foxing. It contains 4 live renditions of tracks from their debut The Albatross (the best emo album of 2013). Upon hearing that they recorded at Daytrotter’s Rock Island studio, I really hoped they did a version of “Rory”, the album’s centerpiece…lucky us. The session can be streamed for free here.
