Fiction, aka Nick Hansen, dropped his sophomore project, Transition: A Short Story. It is seven tracks in length and tells the story of a man and a woman on a journey. It’s a well thought out and cohesive EP – the couple encounters struggle, a crash and ultimately peace. Fiction chose excellent production throughout, all residing in Chicago or with close ties to the city, beats are by Martin $ky, Odd Couple, C-Sick, Nate Fox, BanksTheGenius, T-Jay Beats and Doc Da Mindbenda. The only featured artist is Criss, who added to both singles, “Litted” and “Fuck The World.” The project was recorded and mixed by Chris Classick at Classick Studios. Fiction has diverse influences that are heard in his music, mostly hip hop & punk rock. He’s serious with subject matter, delivers with emotion, heart & skill and deserves to be heard.
