How do you manage ennui?
I used to experience ennui often when I would fall into unfulfilling routines… usually ones that I was not choosing for myself but ones that society expected of me. I am a free spirit and believe in constantly trying new things to expand my understanding of life and of myself and for me personally I can say that with the arts and the cautious use of recreational drugs I am able to keep my mind in a constant state of amazement.
What defines consciousness? Do you think other animals can be considered conscious creatures?
Consciousness is our perspective and awareness of life. We are living and one with life but have our own subjective experience at the same time. Absolutely I believe animals are conscious creatures. I think this can be confirmed through science but also can be seen in our daily lives if you look into the eyes of an animal. There is no doubt in my mind that when I look into the eyes of my American Eskimo dog that he has his own perceptions on his experiences.
What is time? What is Macaroni Time?
Time is a way to measure and sort events into chronological order. Macaroni is made of cheddar cheese. Cheddar and cheese are both slang terms for money… therefore macaroni time means it’s time to go make that money!
Sartre considered contemplation a luxury, do you?
Yes I believe so. Time itself is a luxury and contemplation would require time.
