What is the importance of space exploration in our society?
As dope as space exploration is I really think we got enough to learn about our own planet. At the same time I would love for someone to discover some extraterrestrials/ultraterrestials or evidence thereof so idk man. I do feel like space exploration is really gonna help us figure out what the fuck we’re all doing here, so I’d say it’s important.
How do you create meaningful experience in your life?
Stay posi, aware (not too aware tho), surround yourself with beautiful people, beautiful art, baja blast and always be working towards something bigger than you.
What is time? What is Macaroni Time?
Time is a man made vice. Macaroni time is when I got to bojangles and order the number 1 with a side of macaroni
Riff Raff has been called a tangible example of increased absurdity (aka entropy) in the universe, can you name other examples?
Riff Raff isn’t THAT weird to me. Personally I think he just kinda capitalized on ‘weirdness’ for the sake of viral exposure and publicity. Plenty of people do that. The most interesting ‘weird’ artist to me would probably be the author Philip K. Dick. Dude was writing about early forms of the internet and suggesting we all might live in a simulated reality in the 1970’s. Not to mention he claimed multiple times he received divine inspiration from aliens. I could keep going on and on about weird ass authors tho, I love that shit.
*Editorial Note: I love PKD!! Have you read the 3 Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch ?
Do you think trends are accelerating faster than ever ?
Yesssss. Shouts out to the internet for putting every new trend up front and in your face for everybody to jump into instantly. These trends come off so new and welcoming but are literally beaten to death and oversaturated within a year. There’s a v small period of time where a trend can maintain any exclusivity. So ppl that lean towards counter-culture have just kinda become hyper trend-hopping shape shifters. It’s strange tbh…
Who gave us the sponge to wipe away the entire horizon? What were we doing when we unchained this earth from its sun?
Tbh I think whoever/whatever created us had the sponge up on some pedestal that they thought was out of our reach. But humanity hit a growth spurt in the last few decades (probably for the worst) and we just kinda reached up and took it. But we didn’t kill god, we’ve just started realizing we don’t need to rely on religious crutches. We don’t need an invisible friend or the promise of an afterlife to find purpose in ourselves anymore and it’s beautiful. we are all yung gods, we have the ability to create whatever
