“Well, someday you’re gonna wake up
You’ll see you made a mistake
You let me walk away, love
I said I needed more
You said you couldn’t afford love”
Drama, a hip hop and R&B duo, comprised of Via Rosa and Na’el Shehade, is a gift to Chicago’s already rich music community. “Walk Away” is the second single from their upcoming debut album and premiered via ThisThatNew. It follows up the hit, “Hopes Up,” which introduced Drama in a big way by premiering via The Fader. The artists say that their duo is a “dark and passionate musical collaboration,” and I’d add magical to the description. Na’el Shehade’s expressive and tight production is a perfect foundation for Via Rosa’s voice and words to shine. The strength of Drama’s two singles makes their upcoming project one that I am most excited to hear. Share in their passion, follow Drama and listen to “Walk Away.”
