It has been over a year since the last Different Sleep release, but may you wait no longer! This morning, the world received the first single off Different Sleep’s upcoming Last Nerve EP via LA label Friends of Friends. “Lost Profit”, which features Chicago vocalist and fellow FoF artist Angelina Lucero and artwork by Chicago’s Mikey Joyce, is a joy inducing track that takes bits of low tempo influence and gives it an extra charge. If you’re new to Different Sleep’s music, this is definitely an excellent track to start out with.
The Last Nerve EP drops March 18th and marks his second release with Friends of Friends. Though Different Sleep is now based out of LA, he spent most of the last four years perfecting his skills in Chicago, and I speak for everyone when I say we miss him dearly. Keep your eyes peeled for new Different Sleep music and blast “Lost Profit” until then.
