21 year old rapper/singer Chason is gearing up for the release of his debut full length, Recollections, and released its second single, “Famous,” via The Source. Chason is an eclectic artist, at ease both singing and rapping. The song speaks to wanting to be famous but warns to “be careful what you wish for,” with that pursuit one risks losing meaning in the process. For “Famous” Chason enlisted Gary Fowler to feature and Will Miller’s horn playing adds color and vibrancy to the track. Drew Mantia mixed and mastered the song at Carter Co. Studios. Look for Chason’s Recollections project soon.
