Earlier this year, this semi-underground rapper by the name of Drake or something like that said “shit is hot up in the 6 right now” and he was pretty accurate with that assessment. Bsdjzs is another one of the blessed souls who found my email deep in the depths of internet hell and took the time to reach out and share his craft with me. While we conversed back and forth for a little while, he was able to still stay extremely low key which had me intrigued before I even got the time to listen to what he was sending. Thirsty, produced by Xantonio, is a short, vulnerable record in which Bsdjzs opens up and admits what most probably think and that is that there are certain women that we’re willing to stoop to the “lowest of lows” to reach for; most of which are from a foreign-exotic country like South Africa. Vibe alone, I was already a fan of the way that Mr. Bsdjzs carried himself, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I clicked play. Needless to say, we’re definitely excited to see what else the mystery-6-man has in-store for the rest of the 2015 into ’16.
