Milwaukee’s multi-talented artist, Klassik, just premiered a track today. The rapper/singer/producer goes in for his second single off his upcoming LP Seasons. Klassik displays some serious lyricism in his bars and some heavenly vocals in the chorus. Of course, all of this is accompanied by his own jazzy, soul-influenced production as well. Shouts to Fake Shore Drive for the premier, and keep an eye out for Seasons coming this July.

Netherfriends – Knocking (Ft. Che Guevara)
Netherfriends links up with Che Guevara for this rather intense, yet still bluesy joint. According to Nether’s soundcloud, Che Guevara was on the guitar and vocals while Netherfriends rocked out on the keys, drums, police officer and production. He also took some time to note that he would be collaborating and smoking weed all summer so if you are interested, let him know. These two can make some great music and this track is definitely no exception, so give it a listen above and keep an eye out for his upcoming project Ladyfriends.
Why you knockin’ like the police?
Ashley All Day – Bounce Bounce Ho
There is something intriguing about Ashley All Day’s music and music videos. She makes dope music, but there is something that really amuses me about her and I cannot put a finger on it. Anyway, here is a new single from her that is so eloquently titled Bounce Bounce Ho. No word on what project this will land on, but stream Lil Face Tat’s single above.
Blended Babies – 1
One of the best production duos in Chicago has just released an entire album of instrumentals. Although Blended Babies have worked with plenty of artists, this is their debut instrumental album, hence why it is simply called 1. You can enjoy it on soundcloud above, and if you are anything like me (which you probably are not) there is a good chance this will be the soundtrack to many late night drunken, post-bar freestyle sessions.
IshDARR – Remember
Michael Christmas – Home ft. Royal
Tick tick. Mr. Christmas lets loose of this lighthearted fun single because, according to his soundcloud, it’s his 21st birthday and he’s home for it. Happy Birthday Michael!
Slot-A – CSFWU (ft. Gerald Walker and Chuuwee)
Slot-A can’t stop fucking with us on this new self-produced heater. He also recruited current Brooklyn resident and former Milwaukeean Gerald Walker and Sac-Town MC Chuuwee to both add their respective 16’s. If you have been following these artists independently you would realize this is an amazingly random collaboration, but the outcome is beautiful…
Father – Please Stop Making Fake Versace
That new new from the head honcho over at Awful Records. Father blesses us with a single off of his upcoming EP which will be called Papicodone. Peep this self-produced track above and keep an eye out for more content from the Awful Records crew.
O†ion – Broken Bones
Vocalist, Savannah Moreau combined with producer, Fa†e, form a group called O†ion and they make beautiful, ominous, neo-soul sounding music. They have finally released their debut LP entitled Broken Bones. This project includes ten tracks and features the likes of Anonymuz, Blu, Kevin Abstract and Arella Rocket. This is some amazing music, so stream the project above and download for free here.
Frederick Boom – Billy Madison
Frederick gives everyone an inside look to his experience at SXSW with what appears to be possibly a GoPro and a selfie stick. The visuals coincide for his track Billy Madison which was on his most recent project entitled #ITILMJ3. Peep the video above and check out a taste of what Freddie experienced that magical week in Austin, TX.
Lion Babe – Move On Up
The New York duo, Lion Babe, gives a fresh new take on a classic Curtis Mayfield track. Although this sounds nothing like the original, this cut is amazing in its’ own right. Stream it above…
Sunny Woodz – Feel the Wave (ft. MC Tree, Supa Bwe, Marvo, & Twista)
Well this is an amazing group of artists. Sunny Woodz recruits the squad for this wavy jam. Sunny, Tree, Marvo and Twista all lace their respective verses, while Supa Bwe flexes his eccentric vocals on the chorus. All of this over a super dope instrumental from P. Flawz. With a line-up like this, how could this track not be a banger? Stream it above and try to feel the wave for yourself.
