The ever-so anonymous Appleby has returned to the surface with the third single from his upcoming, debut EP release Down Dance with “Random Love”. Produced by Elias Abid, who seems to be Appleby’s primary producer these days, the track is bouncy and soulful, featuring an impressive guest vocal appearance from Iris Temple. With Down Dance out April 24th, we won’t have to wait long at all until we have an extensive collection of music from one of Chicago’s most not yet overturned talents. But what exactly is ‘down dance’? “Down Dance is our brand of music” says Appleby.
