So a few months back I had been hearing a lot about this guy from Minneapolis who was working with Plain Pat. You know, the guy who produced all of Kid Cudi’s early jams? His name never fully stuck with me until I heard the track Evergreens and saw the music video. After that, I knew this guy was something to mess with. Here, he presents to us, his most recent project Future Memoirs. To me this guy has a really refreshing sound, intricate and complex lyrics, and the perfect amount of eclecticism so he’s unique, but close-minded people might not necessarily consider him “weird”. With production mostly by Mr. Kingdom himself, only with the help of others on a few other tracks, and a cameo from Spooky Black, this EP does not disappoint. Give it a listen, and download it here.
