Al Cheekz came to Chicago via St. Louis and we are very lucky to have him in our city. His talents are pretty much limitless jumping from producing, to rapping, to drumming, to curating and he’s just an all around great dude! Today he released the lead single from his upcoming tape “The Beginning of Nothing” coming to our ears in early August. This beautifully orchestrated track “All Lit” is only sitting on that positive wave and in terms of what’s next for Chicago music, Al Cheekz may be up there.
