As far as biographical information, I can tell you that Groundislava aka Jasper Patterson is from California. His dad directed this unforgettably 80’s music video. He went to school with Shlohmo and now they are both crucial members of internet sensation WEDIDIT Collective. Other than that chances are he likes dogs, food, music, and maybe video games too.
2013 is a weird era to for journalists and even pretend journalists. Anything you would want to know about Jasper you could probably glean from his twitter account, which reads as a series of potential stand-up bits, non-sequiturs, in-jokes with fellow DJs (i.e. BATHS, Jerome LOL, etc) as well as a personal journal of sorts. As a forward thinking pretend journalist my goal is impart as much knowledge about GIS to you using as much information as I can gather from a first hand source — without exerted too great an effort.
