Dynamic musician and author, Jabril Power, 1/2 of duo Abandoned Mall Arcade, along with rising producer Elias Abid, releases the inventive single, “Futureworld Freestyle.” The futuristic track begins with a dark electronic sound and evolves into a tight groove. Jabril recorded this while working on Abandoned Mall Arcade’s debut EP. The track came about during a recording session when Elias played Com Truise’s instrumental for Power, he was inspired and immediately got to work. Jabril Power is artistically ambitious, with the intention of exploration and progression, and I’m fascinated. “Futureworld Freestyle” was described to me as “the blue print for the new generation of freestyles,” and I’d have to agree. The young Kentucky native is currently working on his solo EP, and on more music with his duo AMA – expect new music from them this month and early into the new year.
