Battles third studio album “La Di Da Di” serves as a continuation of their dense, polyrhythmic, synth driven, pattern explorative sound that has made them a staple in the rock community. With drums that are pushed to the front of the mix and the heaviness that is their calculated hits, Battles stands out as one of the kings of psychedelic math rock. ‘Dot Net’ is the single from “La Di Da Di” and second track which begins as a gallop and turns into a swarm of sounds.
