Ju premiered “The Cage” via 2DopeBoyz. It’s a moody song that opens with acoustic guitar in a tasteful production by talented producer and rapper orgenA and Tatiana Hazel, who played guitar and added background vocals. Ju sings about feeling stuck and “trapped inside the cage.” Ju is coming on strong as a solo artist, he is innovative and refreshing. His last track “Burgundy” got a lot of attention and featured Milwaukee’s rising star WebsterX. He spoke of “The Cage” to 2DopeBoyz and said, “It was the most organic music making process I’ve ever been a part of” and that the song means a lot to him. It’s clear why, it’s expressive and real. This is the first single from his upcoming EP of the same title, The Cage.
