Do you think anything is absolute? If so, what?
Nothing is absolute. Things can only be defined in the moment in which they appear to exist. Perhaps the universe is a pond of overlapping moments, or maybe it’s an illusion.
In your opinion does this photograph of a pumpkin:
A. Reflect a profound reality (A picture of pumpkin is like the real thing)
B. Mask and denature a profound reality (A picture of the pumpkin is like a shitty version of the real thing.)
C. Mask the absence of a profound reality (the pumpkin was a lie.)
D. Lose all connection to reality, becoming pure simulation (Pumpkins, as a natural phenomenon, are a lie and this picture I just handed you is just a napkin that I peed on.)
E. All of the Above

All I know is that that image of the pumpkin exists in my experience, anything beyond that is, in this moment, undefined with the present evidence.
Like Sartre, do you consider contemplation a luxury?
Contemplation is a luxury as much as it is a curse, but any luxury is a curse. Having does not fill the emptiness, it merely expands it.
Do you think trends are accelerating faster than ever ?
Yes, we (at least the more-so privileged in the West) live in a disposable society. Between corporations instilling a constant “need” for their new products within us, and the attention-span depleting cloud of tech and social media that engulfs us, there is an ever-expanding chasm in our souls that we long to fill with newness. But our amassing desire for flimsy things and superficial attention will only leave us unsatisfied.
What were we doing when we unchained this earth from its sun?
I don’t believe we can “kill god” only change our interpretation of the instinctual need within us to find our meaning and purpose in this universe. Our human quest for purpose has made us a superior species on this earth, but the actual meaning of our existence lies in the answer to zero divided by zero.
