Chicago’s hip-hop art mastermind, Hebru Brantley, released a short animated video to the soundtrack of Yasin Bey’s “Revelations” this morning. Brantley has been striking it big as of late, with a City of Chicago presented gallery show at the Chicago Cultural Center that ran last year and several, new public murals up around the city. Oh, and who can forget when he was commissioned to make paintings for the starting 5 on the 2013-14 Miami Heat? Not to mention Jay Z and Nicki Minaj are past Flyboy purchasers. Fly on, Hebru!
