Two weeks removed from Witty Rock‘s Birthday Boy EP (which was premiered via yours truly), the Baltimore bar-spitter drops off another 3 track installment – Self Medicated Pt. 1. Personally, I think Witty is taking a rather useful approach when it comes to dropping music; releasing 3 track impacts rather than single one-offs. This time around, Witty doesn’t add any additional features to the body of work besides his own voice. The title of the release obviously leads me to believe there will be a part 2. I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: Baltimore is a creative haven ready for a national audience to take notice.
