Milwaukee’s WebsterX is an adventurous MC, I just came across his music via Mishka NYC. WebsterX has been grabbing attention, he recently won a Milwaukee Music Award for Solo Artist Of The Year, played a show at Portage Theater last fall with Saba and Mick Jenkins and the “Doomsday” video premiered on Noisey. “Doomsday” features Siren on backing vocals and the engaging production is by Chants. WebsterX’s verses are energetic yet work well with the easy groove, he said that the song is meant to “create a vibe and a feel” which it does very effectively.
