So Dylan’s been sending me drafts of this to me for a few weeks but finally it’s out so I can now stop restraining myself from gushing about it. Previously bansheebeat proved he can meld together ridiculous bangers and ambitious world-building on his latest record, Lumine (which is just now rolling out physical editions). Here he loosens up a bit more and throws himself completely into the world of jersey-juke; bedsqueaks and all. At the same time redeeming an unbelievably corny theme from Sonic Adventure that never made it past guilty pleasure territory for me (just like the entire rest of the game!). Go take a listen.
