I’m not sure where to even start with this one. Baltimore emcee JuegoTheNinety released the music video for his track When I Was A Boy – off of his most recent project Abandoned Mansions – and since I pushed play I’ve just been sitting outside questioning everything I know about life. Played out through old home videos interlaced with shots from the present, Juego paints a vivid picture as the record almost seems like it could be direct journal entries from a depressive, angry kid. I could go on forever with quotables that should resonate much deeper than the surface, but I’d rather everyone just saw for themselves. In my own opinion, this is some of the better content being put out by indie-rappers at the moment.
