Goodbye Tomorrow – Goodbye Tomorrow: A Journey Through The Mind of a Non Believer

By MARTIN JOBS @mrtnjbs · On August 14, 2015

Does anyone know who the hell this guy(s?) is yet? The roll-out and build up to Goodbye Tomorrow’s debut project has been well calculated, but not too much to the point that it seems forced. It’s quite evident that he/they don’t really care about the individual spotlight, but rather showing people that it’s cool to do what you want while remaining true to yourself. What has been the coolest part, for me, is the modern-nostalgia they are bringing to the table: GIFs featuring old screen savers, album art using Windows 98 templates, and everything else that us underground nerds can look back on an appreciate. Rostrum Records has a solid act on their hands and Goodbye Tomorrow: A Journey Through the Mind of a Non Believer proves just that. I’ll have a review for this up in the next couple of weeks once I’ve given it the proper amount of time to digest; but until then, enjoy 12 track debut from one of Chicago’s biggest problems.
