About the event:

Chicago Is A Drag Festival is the first ever ourdoor festival that showcases Chicago’s drag culture. Curated by A Queer Pride, the lineup of CIADF will represent drag from across generations, neighborhoods, and performance styles, in addition to diversity in race, gender and sexuality.

June 2019 marks a number of LGBTQ milestones including 50 years of Chicago Pride, the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and 50 years of Chicago’s legendary Baton Lounge. With performances from 50 of Chicago’s top kings, queens and club kids, CIADF is the much needed platform to celebrate the past, present and future of Chicago drag.
